ABOUT US

The NORMA Project is getting teens involved in the fight for THEIR future so that what has become NORMAl does not remain. Where does our name come from? The NORMA Project was created in light of the overturning of Roe v Wade. Roe is a huge inspiration to us, so we decided that in our fight for rights across the board (women’s rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, BLM, Safety, etc.) we needed to honor her. Roe’s real name was NORMA, so in fighting to combat what has become NORMAl, we want to honor her fight in doing so.

Camryn Klotz

My name is Camryn Klotz and I am 15 years old. I have grown up in the Nazareth area and am attending the Nazareth Area School District where I worked with another member of the NORMA project to get free feminine products in the girls bathroom. Outside of school, I enjoying dancing at Valley Dance in Bethlehem, crafting, hanging out with my family and friends, and being outdoors. Being a part of the NORMA Project is important to me because the world needs to see change from younger groups. It is important for us to take action for the things that are important to us.

Lauren Gallagher

My name is Lauren Gallagher and I am a senior at Easton Area High School!! I am a huge advocate for making the change you want to see in the world, which is what brought us all together to form The NORMA Project in the first place. Besides this, I am on the Varsity Field Hockey team, am my school’s NHS, Key Club, Hero Squad, and Class President, as well as the NAACP Secretary. As one can see, speaking out for those in need, and making a change while doing so, is something that is extremely important to me. The NORMA Project holds a special place in my heart because it is the intersection of all the important things to me - fighting for what you believe in and being a leader.
